As a rising sophomore, Emmanuel has been fortunate enough to have already participated in two unforgettable brigades: a Legal Empowerment in Greece and an Engineering in Honduras. As a Franco-American dual citizen, he has always had a global perspective and believes that Global Brigades is the future of sustainable volunteering worldwide.

As a rising senior, Seth is extremely excited for the opportunity presented with GB! He is also part of The Daily Collegian and CommRadio. Some of his hobbies include writing, reading, exercising and playing sports! This is his first year on GB, but Seth is really looking forward to meeting new people and learning about different backgrounds!

Laci is a third-degree black belt who enjoys watching sports, movies, and traveling! She joined GB because she would like to go to law school in the future, and the opportunity to help refugees and shadow lawyers is a great experience! She is honored to be one of the board of Directors of Communication as she loves to meet new people and talk to everyone of different backgrounds.

Gaia is a current junior who loves to read and travel. Having lived in multiple countries before moving to the U.S. when she was 16, her favorite part about Global Brigades is the ability to volunteer and empower others in different communities beyond those she's a part of. As a pre-law student, she's excited about all the opportunities and experiences she'll gain in Global Brigades, whilst meeting cool new people!

As a lover of learning and devoted advocate for marginalized communities, Maya found her home after joining Global Brigades at Penn State. Her adventures abroad have fostered her passion for justice by motivating her to advocate for policies that bridge the gaps and ensure equity. She hopes to continue to travel internationally alongside people who share the passion of volunteering and making a real impact on communities!
